Sahvanna Arienta is a powerhouse of a Lightworker!  She’s a wife and mother, internationally renowned psychic medium, and entrepreneur.  She’s the owner and CEO of Soul’s Journey Media, which comprises the Soul’s Journey Radio and Soul’s Journey Lightworker sites in the US and the UK.

She has won numerous awards for her work, written many articles on spirituality, and is now a two-time (soon to be three-time!) author.

Her newest book, The Lightworkers Source, is a concise handbook for the Lightworkers in the world that are getting to know their talents, coming into their own authentic power, and working here on this planet for spiritual healing and growth.

This interview, which discusses her new book and other topics, will be posted in installments.  You won’t want to miss any!

Let’s get to know Sahvanna:

One place that Sahvanna hasn’t yet visited in the world, but would like to see:

“There are so many places it’s hard to list, but one particular place that comes to mind is Australia, to visit Tasmania or the adjunct islands where the Indigenous communities and people reside would be amazing! These people date back hundreds of thousands of years and many people believe this is where the earliest remains of man were found. Some of these societies remained untouched for thousands of years. I would love to see the Aborigines, not sure what they would think of a strange creature like me, but I would love to experience humanity at its most primitive and unadulterated form.”

Sahvanna’s favorite book:

“I am dyslexic, and not a big reader. I remember the frustration and humiliation of trying to read my first grade primers in front of my class. Imagine now, me becoming a writer (with the help of spell check). I have overcome my embarrassment and aversion to reading now and have to say some of my favorite books are by Deepak Chopra, Tony Robbins and Marianne Williamson. I take what inspiration I need from any book I pick up and usually the rest is stored in my subconscious for a later date when and if I need it. I prefer to form my own ideas.”

Sahvanna’s favorite movies:

“I am a classic movie buff; I love Gone with the Wind, and will watch it over and over again, It’s A Wonderful Life and, of course, Wuthering Heights. I also love Forrest Gump. The character of Forest was so accepting and just surrendered to what life brought him. He knew the secret of letting the universe flow as it should and even with his ‘disabilities’ pain and heartache, he was blessed.”

Sahvanna’s favorite food:

“I am not really a big food person! If you ask anyone who knows me they will tell you I usually have a bowl of Miso Soup nearby at any given time of the day. Sometimes I switch it up to make it more exciting, I add brown rice or if I am feeling really daring: an egg white.”

One little known interesting fact about Sahvanna that she would like to share with readers:

“I get 99% of my clothing at the Salvation Army. I’m a regular, going there most mornings to browse through the clothing before I go home to start work. I feel like I am not only getting some great designer clothing that is inexpensive, but I’m helping out someone who is in need. The browsing and sorting through all the racks is my relaxation, too.”

What is the one thing that always connects you to spirit or source energy?

“We are all always connected to source, but the one thing that makes it a tangible feeling for me is my work. If I put it off or take too long of a break, I become ungrounded and restless. I am sure many people who consider themselves “messengers” of some kind feel a constant urge or stirring to do something. Sometimes I get clear signals from spirit to rest when I need to, but if they give me an inch and I take a mile (too much time off), I begin to really feel that push, to write something, touch someone, or begin a new project. Once I begin my work again that feeling of connection is awakened.”

Sahvanna’s newest book, The Lightworkers Source, is now available through New Pages books.
